Deborah A. Romig, M.S.P.T.
Deborah has worked at K Valley Orthopedics, P.C. since 2000. At the University of Michigan, she was a four year varsity letter winner and tri-captain of the Women's Gymnastics Team as well as an Academic All American and an All Big Ten Conference performer, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology majoring in Movement Science. Debbie received her Master's of Science in Physical Therapy degree at the University of Miami in 1996 where she received the Academic Achievement Award as the program's top graduate. Debbie also served as a volunteer assistant coach with Western Michigan University's Women's Gymnastics Team from 1999-2002.
In addition to gymnastics, Debbie has also participated in competitive running, including the Chicago Marathon, local events, and high school track competition. She was also a cheerleader, participated in ballet and played competitive youth softball. Currently Debbie enjoys Yoga and Pilates.
Deborah has focused her post-graduate course work in manual therapy and sports medicine. In addition to generalized sports medicine, she is interested in the rehabilitation of gymnasts, dancers, and cheerleaders from injury, as well as in the treatment of clients suffering from headaches.
Debbie is married with two children who are active in dance, gymnastics, hockey and little league.
